The kidneys play key role in the body not only by filtering the blood of uric acid and getting rid of waste products, but also by balancing levels of electrolytes in the body, controlling blood pressure and stimulating the production of red blood cells. Chronic kidney disease includes conditions that damage the kidneys and decrease their ability to keep a person healthy by carrying out these functions.

If kidney disease is sever, wastes can build to high levels in the blood and make a person feel terrible. Complications that are caused by kidney disease are anaemia, high blood pressure, nerve demage, poor nutritional health and week bones. Kidney disease also increase the risk of having heart and blood vessel disease. These problems may arise slowly over a long time.

Early detection and treatment can often keep kidney disease from getting worse. If left untreated, it may eventually lead to kidney failure, which requires dialysis or a kidney transplant to maintain life. Kidney failure can be accompanied by many disorders, such as congestive heart failure, diabetes, hypertension, liver disease, lupus and sickle-cell anaemia. This is because other body systems will keep supporting the weak urinary system. One unresolved disharmony has effect on the whole body system always.      

The kidney disfunction can be caused by psycho-somatic issue regards to the identity issue and therefore by holding on anger, resentment, guilt, grudge and over-judgement.

The other reasons of cause can be influence of diabetes, high blood pressure and other disorders or by toxins (heavy exposure to chemotherapy, drugs, heavy metals, poisons and other toxins). High doses of the painkiller ibuprofen can lead to kidney dysfunction.  Lead and other metallic poisons are very harmful to the kidneys. Anyone who works with lead or who is exposed to lead regularly should take precautions to protect their kidneys from damage.
